- The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from Canada, Iceland and Nauru, on behalf of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), containing additional information relating to the quantified economywide emission reduction targets contained in document FCCC/SB/2011/INF.1/Rev.1. The submissions will be considered by the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) at its 15th session.

- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) announced investments in projects worth up to €25 billion over the next three years under the new phase of the Bank’s Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI).
